Ana Vernia
(Burriana, 1976)

Mi obra está directamente relacionada con mi experiencia personal. A través de mi particular lenguaje y mi visión del mundo, no sólo intento emocionar con colores potentes y formas dinámicas, sino que además invito a la reflexión con metáforas sutiles, que cada uno hace suyas según su experiencia y su percepción de las cosas.

Licenciada en Bellas Artes por la Universidad Politécnica de Valencia, completo mi formación en la Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti de Turín (Italia).

Me interesa ese poder que tiene el arte cuando de verdad es libre, su capacidad de ser atractivo y útil en cualquier momento, como una llave maestra que abre justo la puerta que necesitamos aunque el contexto sea diferente.

En 2015 gano el Premio Nacional de Pintura de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos, con la obra El Sueño de Dover, y el Primer Premio, con El Estilo en la Emergencia, en el Salón de Otoño del Ateneo Mercantil de Valencia, entre otros reconocimientos.

He realizado exposiciones en Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón, Santander, Bari, Turín, Zurich y París. Y he participado en numerosas Ferias Internacionales como Estampa, Marte o Arte Santander.

Mi obra forma parte de colecciones como la de la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Carlos (Valencia), MACVAC Museo de Arte Contemporáneo V. Aguilera Cerní en Vilafamés (Castellón), Museo del Calzado (Elda, Alicante), Fundación Gaetano Morguese (Bari, Italia), Fundación Balaguer Gonel (Castellón), Ateneo Mercantil (Valencia) y de numerosas colecciones privadas, nacionales e internacionales.

Actualmente tengo mi estudio en Castellón desde donde desarrollo todos mis proyectos.

My work is closely related to my personal experience. Through my particular language and my vision of the world, not only do I try to excite with powerful colors and dynamic shapes, but I also invite reflection, with subtle metaphors that each person can make their own according to their experience and their perception of things.

I earned a BA in Fine Arts from the Polytechnic University of Valencia, and completed my education at the Accademia Albertina di Belle Arti in Torino (Italy).

I am interested in the power that art has when it is truly free, its ability to be attractive and useful at any given time, like a master key that opens just the door we need, even if the context is different.

In 2015 I won the National Painting Prize from the San Carlos Royal Academy of Fine Arts, with the work El Sueño de Dover (Dover´s Dream), and the First Prize, with El Estilo en la Emergencia (The Style in the Emergency), at the Ateneo Mercantil Autumn Salon of Valencia, among other recognitions.

I have held exhibitions in Madrid, Valencia, Barcelona, Castellón, Santander, Bari, Torino, Zurich and Paris. I have also participated in numerous International Fairs such as Estampa, Marte and Arte Santander.

My work is included as part of collections such as the San Carlos Royal Academy of Fine Arts (Valencia), MACVAC Museum of Contemporary Art V. Aguilera Cerní in Vilafamés (Castellón), Museo del Calzado in Elda (Alicante), Gaetano Morguese Foundation in Bari (Italy), Balaguer Gonel Foundation (Castellón), Ateneo Mercantil (Valencia), and numerous national and international private collections.

I currently have my studio in Castellón (Spain), from where I develop all my projects.
